Job Description

PURCHASE LEDGER GOLBORNEWARRINGTON£23,000 -£26,000 DOEHYBRID WORKING FREE PARKING Our client who are a growing National Infrastructure business are recruiting due to growth and expansion. We are looking for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk who has experience within the Construction industry specifically subcontractors and CIS payments. Youwill support the Finance Manager with the day to day running of the Accounts and in return you will receive a competitive salary, hybrid working, free on-site parking and also the opportunity to progress as the team expands.Role

  • A strong communicator who is deadline focused and passionate paying our suppliers accurately and on time.
  • A friendly and proactive team player who will complement our current Finance team.
  • Somebody who enjoys a challenge and is willing to tackle new tasks.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Previous experience of working on a subcontract ledger is essential, with a good working knowledge of CIS and domestic reverse charge VAT rules.
  • Managing a subcontractor ledger that has two monthly payment runs.
  • Liaising with key suppliers and our Commercial team to ensure invoices are received, entered onto the system, taxed correctly and then paid to our subcontract supply chain.
Experience and Key attributes
  • We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and previous experience working in a Subcontract/Purchase Ledger in a busy environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working on a subcontract ledger, good working knowledge of CIS and domestic reverse charge VAT rules and a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience working with Business Central (ERP) would be advantageouscurrently we us a version of Navision (eVision), however the Group plans to migrate to Business Central in 2023.
