Summary We’re looking for a Property Operations Manager to lead the visitor business on site at Winkworth Arboretum. Play your part in the opening of the sensational new visitor centre and impact the experiences of thousands of visitors.Winkworth is currently undergoing significant investment in its infrastructure and exciting new visitor facilities are expected to open this summer to accommodate growing visitor numbers.Salary range: £36,000 - £42,000 depending on skills and experience. What its like to work here The only arboretum in the care of the National Trust, Winkworths stunning landscapes of colour and texture welcome over 100,000 visitors each year.Youll be part of the Property Leadership team for the Portfolio, working closely with the General Manager (the line manager for this role), and alongside other Heads of Department to deliver brilliant visitor experiences. What youll be doing Day to day, you’ll manage and be accountable for the operations on-site at Winkworth Arboretum and for smaller properties nearby. You’ll be committed to delivering and maintaining outstanding supporter experiences and for ensuring your teams are empoweredto play their part.You’ll line manage a team of staff and volunteers to ensure that visitors receive the best experience possible and will have responsibility for everything from Health & Safety and compliance through to presentation, service and volunteer management, withaccountability for elements of the commercial performance of the property.Please also read the full role profile and additional information attached to this advert.
