Job Description

This growing innovative organisation based in Godalming are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. You will be joining a market-leading business that has achieved significant growth over the past few years and is continually striving tomove forward to further their success. This role will be offered on a hybrid working basis and will come with a study support package if someone is actively studying ACCA or CIMA. This is a brilliant role for a part qualified or qualified by experienced individualthat has good management accounts exposure and is looking for their next challenge within a progressive organisation.Management Accountant - Benefits

Management Accountant - About The RoleIn this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be required to play a vital role in delivering key financial information both internally and externally. You will be working with the senior finance team to ensure a smooth and efficientmonth-end process.Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Ensuring completion of month-end processes, including preparation of regular journal entries
  • Managing reconciliations such as credit cards, VAT, fixed assets, prepayments and accruals
  • Collaboration across the business to discuss accounting matters and improve financial processes
  • Assisting with projects when needed to support the development of the business such as operational improvements and system changes
  • Supporting with Finance Manager with other monthly and annual activities
  • Being involved in a collaborative and supportive team environment, ensuring good internal communication
The successful Management Accountant will have:
  • Proven experience in a month-end focused position
  • Part qualified or QBE candidates will be considered
  • Strong analytical and system skills
  • Desire to grow and learn new skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
