Job Description

ITL IT Help Desk Manager - ITIL IT Helpdesk Support Manager- ITIL Technical Support Manager - IT Technical Manager - Service Delivery - Service Desk - Team Management - ITIL - Managed Services - IT Service Provider - Networking based in Godalming, Surrey on - £40,000 + £50,000 per annum and Company Benefits. Our client an established and nationwide Managed Service Provider who specialises in providing IT Managed Services and Technical Support is seeking a Technical Hands on Help Desk Manager to lead a team of 15 support professions providing Level 1 & level 2 support to their managed service clients. Key experience sought include:

  • ITIL Qualified or relevant experience gained working for a Manager Service Provider (MSP) or IT Service Provider - IT Solutions Company - IT Outsourcing Company
  • Technical support managerial experience, leading small to medium sized teams consisting of Service Desk Analysts and Engineers
  • Experience of IT End User, Infrastructure & Cloud support services delivered in an SLA based environment
  • Experience of Incident and Request management/fulfilment plus an appreciation for ISO20000
  • Previous experience of ITSM Helpdesk systems plus report generation and statistical analysis experience
  • This is a hands on role Help Desk Manager leading the team of Service Desk Engineers representing IT as a service (ITaaS) to customers, promoting service quality and excellence at all times. You also be providing Service Desk Team management and direction for support staff, both on and off-site, within the managed services portfolio.
