Job Description

Salary: £28,543 - £33,076 per annumLocation: The Mill, GodalmingHours: 37.5 per weekContract Type: Fixed Term Contract/Secondment until June 2023Are you experienced in Arrears and Debt Collection processesWere seeking an organised and diligent Arrears Administrator to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract at Grange Property Management.As Arrears Administrator, youll be our main point of contact for arrears collections in line with Grange policies and maintaining effective communication with internal and external customers. Youll be responsible for ensuring the effective collection ofscheme, commercial and company debt to minimise bad debt across the business.Youll monitor overdue payments using the Qube system, anticipate developments and identify those accounts which require special attention.Other responsibilities include:-

  • Proactively communicating with poor payers to maintain dialogue and ensure prompt payments. Agree and set up payment plans. Produce and dispatch arrears chasing letters and emails in line with the arrears policy. Maintain accurate and up to date customerdetails and account records.
  • Dealing with customer contact by phone, email and letter in respect of finance queries they have in relation to their individual accounts.
  • Escalating poor payers to external solicitors for legal action and provide single point of contact for external solicitors.
The ideal candidate will come to us with sound knowledge of arrears processes, an understanding of accounting procedures and operation of sales ledger and the proven ability to investigate and resolve outstanding debts and recover payment.
