Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with a major Aerospace Engineering business based in Sheffield in the search for an experienced Junior Buyer My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide support to the Procurement team across various metal locations. This role will require a strong awareness of the manufacturing process and the ability to communicate effectively with different internalstakeholders across numerous sites. The successful incumbent will be expected to support the Procurement manager across the companys indirect and direct spend.Key duties and responsibilities will include:* Working with the Planning and Supply Chain Manager to manage raw material inventory targets* Raise POs, and book raw materials onto the system, including analysis results* Forecast demand and revert based on production schedules and customer orders* Assist with the managing of the stores* Audit support and provide procurement administrator cover when requiredElevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences: * A minimum three years procurement experience within the manufacturing / engineering sector * Ability to communicate at all levels and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines* Advanced use of MS Excel and good IT skills * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment focusing on engineering, operational and technical positions in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
