Job Description

H9HR are partnering with a well-established yet growing SME to recruit for a Part Time HR Manager to join the team.The role is 24 hours per week, which can be either 3 days, or split over shorter 4 / 5 days per week.Its a standalone HR Manager position that will play a key role in the development of the business.Key Duties

  • Manage complex employee relations issues
  • Provide generalist HR support to the business
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer payroll and collate information for processing by outsourced Payroll Bureau
  • Manage recruitment and inductions
Qualifications:
  • Ideally CIPD Level 5
Previous Experience:
  • Knowledge of People HR and Access Payroll software highly desirable.
  • Proven HR generalist experience of a minimum of three years.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills are required together with good knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Experienced in developing and supporting line managers.
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.
  • Strong IT Skills, Word, Excel
  • Proficient in composing and compiling communications, i.e. policies, procedures, letters, minutes of meetings etc.
  • Working within manufacturing would be an advantage
