Job Description

Core Subjects Tutor

  • £25 - £40 per hour.
  • English/Maths/Science (and/or).
  • Glossop area.
Teaching Personnel are currently partnered with a number of schools within the High Peak Area that are in looking to appoint a Tutor to cover the main core subjectsEnglish, Maths and Science.There are a number of different pupils across the range of schools who are requiring additional support throughout their learning, meaning that even if youre just specialised in one of the given subjects, you could still prove to be a very valuable assettowards the students learning.The position in hand will consist of:
  • Working closely with pupils throughout the core subjects, developing their learning.
  • Ensuring for consistent progression with the students targeted levels.
  • Provide a positive and nurturing nature within the classroom setting.
  • Have the ability to build an excellent rapport with the group or pupils in hand.
Some of the students in hand have SEN and SEMH requirements, meaning any sort of experience with children who have similar needs, could prove to be a valuable asset for the school.Its important for the school that the applicant has experience within a similar setting and has the ability to track and maintain a high standard of tutoring.
