Distribution Specialist (ADR / Dangerous Goods)Glazebury12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT (Potential to be Extended And Go Permanent)£35,000 to £45,000 DOE, 36.5 Hours per WeekDistribution Specialist required for a globally recognised industry leader based in Glazebury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist in warehousing and distribution to join a team where they will play an integral role in coordinating day to day activities.To apply for this role you will have proven experience in transport and warehouse operations. You will be working with hazardous materials so ADR knowledge and/or experience working with dangerous goods is beneficial. You MUST hold a FLT licence, ideally telescopic, but this is not essential as specific telescopic training can be provided.The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day to day warehouse and distribution activities. You will work with internal and external teams to ensure all dispatches are on time as well as overcoming potential obstacles and planning changes. You will also be responsible for overseeing goods-in by operating the site’s SAP system to monitor stock inventory.When required, you will also be required to take a hands on approach. This will involve, but is not limited to, operating a forklift and heavy lifting of goods boxes as well as loading and unloading containers.As this role will involve working with hazardous products, ensuring H+S will play a key aspect of this role and you will help establish and improve safety processes. You will ensure the provision of systems and provide technical expertise to ensure products are handled and processed safely.This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist in warehousing and distribution to join an industry leader.
