Job Description

Reed Practice are partnered with an established accountancy practice seeking a Portfolio Manager to join their team.The Portfolio Manager is required to operate largely independently in the following areas:

  1. Management of a Portfolio of clients this involves setting up clients and defining their scope of work, agreeing budgets and executing work to the highest of standards.
  2. All Management Accounts submitted on time to the clients timetable and all VATs submitted on time, both to a high standard of review.
  3. Management of a direct line report, dealing with their day to day queries and review of their work to ensure the highest levels of quality.
  4. The Manager must be able to assess the work load of their direct line report
  5. The role requires that the Manager be able to complete bookkeeping and quarterly VAT returns to a high technical standard. In addition to produce management accounts for their client portfolio if required with review by the Senior Manager or Director
