Job Description

Summary of Job

  • The role will include responsibility for the creation and delivery of best in class process improvement methodology and associated process training throughout the commercial team
  • This includes, but is not limited to, the reengineering, standardisation, automation, and implementation and deployment of any process to increase client engagement, as well as driving efficiencies and high productivity
  • The BPI Manager will build effective relationships with key senior stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and strategic priorities, open and ongoing communication, enabling timely delivery of projects with measurable outcomes
  • They will champion the development of a collaborative, knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement mindset to build a culture of operational excellence
Key Responsabilities
  • Provide expertise in business process design and change. Work closely with the business on the identification, scoping, expected outcomes and estimated benefits of proposed improvement opportunities that align with the the companies and Supply Chain Strategies.
  • Manage and deliver effective process improvement projects. Report clearly and consistently on project progress using agreed and accessible project management tools.
  • Build standard, repeatable, and reusable processes which drive efficiency savings, direct cost savings, drive or protect revenue.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with project sponsors and other key stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and progress is aligned with business expectations.
  • Work with IT teams and process owners to ensure end to end process design which supports and solicits systems/IT requirements capture.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring tasks are allocated and completed, driving projects quickly and thoroughly through the businesses project cycle.
  • Advice on best practice and support delivery of creation, dissemination, and maintenance of process documentation, including change management processes.
  • Promote knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain, use and share up-to-date knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma.
  • Manage and advise on documentation of lessons learnt and feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement and best practice.
  • Ensure that corporate and operational systems follow best practice and meet the needs of a growing and evolving dynamic global business.
  • Work with the Product team on building IT customer visibility tools with the standard processes and be at the forefront of the market.
  • Help manage the integration of new organisations to the business, ensuring that the transition to new systems and procedures goes smoothly.
  • Update policies and associated processes and systems, and co-ordinate with global network partners to ensure consistency in processes implemented and sustained.
  • Identify root causes of issues, propose improvement options and support resolution implementation.
  • Identify technical and functional requirements that meet the needs of the business and work with Product, Systems teams, and other functions to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Support, identify and help deliver technology-based continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure consistency of approach and integrity of data across all customers
Experience Required
  • Proven experience in similar role
  • Experience of developing winning proposals in a variety of formats and create customised, profitable pricing structures in response to the customers requirements
  • Proven experience in building, managing and motivating a diverse team

  • Experience in mapping and documenting complex processes in professional services
  • Confidence and experience in facilitating process workshops with a range of stakeholders including at a senior level
  • Experience in introducing and implementing order tracking systems, and working with and integrating other systems
  • Ability to quickly establish relationships across the company, and respond at speed to the business and clients requirements
  • Ability to handle the competing requirements of different stakeholders and work collegiately
  • Managing internal and external customer expectations and manage workload and dedicated team workload effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results
  • Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders of all levels in process re-design projects
  • Persistence and determination to see through projects which innovate and drive change
  • Good organisation/coordination skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
