Job Description

Are you an experienced Mechanical or Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician Would you like to work for an established, successful manufacturing business, that has secured new multi million pound contracts Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our client, a specialist manufacturer. Excellent opportunity for progression for the right candidate.Overview

As a mechanical maintenance Technician, you will
Maximise machines’ output and maintain manufacturing processes in a fast pace and busy production environment
To continuously improve manufacturing processes in order to maximise safety, quality and productivity of production lines

Key responsibilities

Provision of engineering and operational support to manufacturing processes
Fault finding and corrective actions on all production equipment
Machine setting and repairs in order to achieve optimal product specification and machine performance
Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance program
Monitoring machinery condition and planning and carrying out all essential repairs
Promoting TPM approach, working on various engineering projects
Responding to minor and major breakdowns
Preparation of sub-assemblies
Tool changes
Other tasks as reasonably requested by Engineering Team Leader / Manager

Shifts: Continental12 hr shifts, starting at 7am or 7pm

Week 1: Sunday (Nights), Wednesday (Days), Thursday (Days)
Week 2: Monday (Nights), Tuesday (Nights), Friday (Days), Saturday (Days)
Week 3: Sunday (Days), Wednesday (Nights), Thursday (Nights)
Week 4: Monday (Days), Tuesday (Days), Friday (Nights), Saturday (Nights)

Salary: £ 41,723 (inclusive of shift allowance), plenty of overtime availableQualifications

ONC/HNC, BTEC lvl3, NVQ lvl3 in an Engineering Discipline

Experience of high speed, high volume production environment, ideally FMCG / packaging sectors
