Job Description

To be responsible for mechanical assembly and wiring of electrical Switchgear equipment to engineering specifications Main ResponsibilitiesWiring:• Must be able to understand electrical drawings i.e., wiring/electrical layout diagrams/drawings• Fit, wire, build and assemble various electrical components• Producing wiring looms• Using hand/crimp tools• Minor Soldering• Building of electrical control cabinets• Manual dexterity• Fault findingMechanical:• Using powered hand tools• Using cranes and hoists• Assembling complex products to company specifications• Reading and understanding assembly diagrams• Reading and understanding bills of materials Person Specification• Willing to work reasonable overtime to meet targets• Flexible working (may be required to work in various areas) including both wiring and mechanical activities• Good communication skills• Excellent attendance levels and a positive attitude About UsBRUSH Switchgearalready servethousands of customers around the world, offering both AC and DC solutions not only to electrical distribution utilities but also to individual public and private sector end user organisations operating in a variety of settings.Using our skills and experience to produce solutions which have put us at the forefront of switchgear system design.
