Job Description

Senior Social Media ExecutiveThe Exciting Role: We are looking for a Senior Social Media Executive with creative flair and an understanding of the ever-changing social media landscape who can execute the social media strategy for a leading medical clinic. The ideal candidate will be working in a similarrole and be able to drive business through social media channels by creating high-quality, engaging visual and written social content.Our ideal candidate should be a social media expert and enthusiast with a strong understanding of social media platforms and other digital marketing channels with an appreciation of how they integrate. They will understand the differences between the key socialplatforms and their audiences with an ability to adjust and optimise content and tone of voice accordingly while keeping us on-brand and consistent.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organic social media plan in line with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Create engaging visual content for our current social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Use a solid understanding of social media trends and algorithms to help grow the social follower base across all channels and improve engagement rates.
  • Create visually engaging content, including images, illustrations, animations, reels and videos.
  • Shoot and edit short form, phone shot content for use in social media content.
  • Use appropriate tracking tools to report on content engagement and other key metrics - in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Use strong copywriting skills to create equally engaging and persuasive written copy to accompany social posts.
  • Ability to write other short form copy such as blogs, email copy and advertisements.
  • Ensure all social content is on-brand and in line with the specified tone of voice.
  • Conduct regular competitor research to ensure our social media strategy remains ahead of our competition.
  • Stay up to date with the wider digital/social industry and news as a pivotal lead to share knowledge within the relevant teams within the business.
  • Responsible for reviewing and responding to social media comments and enquiries (plus broader review site feedback).
  • Remain proactive across all new and emerging technologies, platforms, tools and trendspresenting new social media opportunities appropriate to the brand.
  • Work with an external agency to assist, when required, with the paid social media strategy.
  • Be a team player and assist the Marketing Manager with other marketing tasks as and when required.
Ideal Candidate:
  • 23 years (minimum) hands-on experience working in a similar social media role
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of different social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Ability to create high-quality, engaging content in numerous applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva etc.)
  • Exceptional written skills; spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Good image and short-form video editing skills.
  • Experience in creating social media content across BAU and campaigns.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Content Management System (CMS) experience and knowledge.
  • Experience in working with social media scheduling platforms (i.e. Hootsuite, Social Sprout etc.)
  • Ability to work under pressure and efficiently as part of a growing marketing team.
  • Experience in engaging and building social communities and growing followers.
  • Ability to forge relationships with the broader internal and external teams.
  • The role will suit a confident, energetic, knowledgeable, and creative individual.
