We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one dayless a week (or equivalent).There has never been a more exciting time to join us!Job Title: Class TeacherLocation:Wessex Lodge School & Newmead Farm (positions cover across both locations)Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum upwardsHours:40 hours per week, Monday to FridayContract: Permanent, Term Time onlyMust be UK basedAs part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class Teachers to join our fantastic team at Wessex Lodge School, Frome.About the roleAs a Class Teacher and under the reasonable direction of the Head Teacher, carry out the professional duties of a teacher as outlined in the job description.You will ensure provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying in the curriculum area, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies. You will contribute to raising standardsof student attainment and to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their full potential. You will develop and enhance the teaching practice of others and to monitor and support the overall progressand development of students within the curriculum area.Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.Roles and Responsibilities:
