Support WorkerFromeFull and Part time available At Discovery, We focus on the ambitions of the people we support and were looking for someone who wants to work with us to help them to achieve their goals and dreams! Could this be youIn Frome we support 9 individuals in their own home who live an active life style and set themselves goals to achieve in life.The people we support enjoy going on walks, going shopping for their favouraite things and attending local social groups to build new relationships and make new friends. The sporty personalities within the service enjoy watching all the sports, including football,rugby and cricket, whilst the ladies love a pamper day at the spa getting a massage and having their nails painted.On top of all of this, they are big fans of Saturday night TV when The X Factor, Strictly Coming Dancing and Britains Got Talent is on, and one person loves magic and often watches Dynamo - So theres something for everyone!A family member said "Both my Husband & I are extremely happy with the care our daughter is receiving from the staff team at This Service."Key Tasks:

  • Support with shopping for things they wish to buy, including clothes and food.
  • Support to manage their own money
  • Help, encourage, support to do their housework, including cleaning and laundry
  • Support with medication
  • Keep written records, using IT systems to update support plans, financial info and health and safety records
Shift Patterns: These can vary throughout the week and can be flexible.For example - 7am - 2:30pm / 8am - 3:30pm / 9am - 4:30pm / 2:20 - 10pm / 9am - 3pm / 4pm - 9pm - Plus alternate weekends.For further information, please contact Keinan on .Why join us
