About the roleLong-term teachers are excited to be recruiting for a passionate and open-minded SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a wonderful, small, primary special school in Frome. This role will be a long-term, stable position for the right person with the potentialto go permanent.Some of the benefits of working as a teaching assistant for Long-Term Teachers include;

About youThe ideal candidate for this role would be friendly, approachable, and dedicated to assisting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom environment. This challenging yet incredibly rewarding opportunity would be perfect for an individualwho is calm and caring, and can demonstrate a strong level of patience and resilience.Experience with SEND is not necessary; the school are more interested in speaking with someone who is open-minded, eager and dedicated. If you DO have experience with SEND, however, that will be helpful as you will be working with children with complex additionalneeds.
