This will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the school’s work.You will teach pupils across the full age and ability range present in the school 8-18 in order to ensure the highest possible standards of students’ achievement, personal development and wellbeing. DesirableThe following national body qualifications ---- Paddle sports qualification; Climbing Wall instructor and/or Abseiling; Archery; Lowland leaders and/or Mountain Leader; cycling and/or mountain biking.About usWessex Lodge School comprises of two main sites: Wessex Lodge School, the main school where classroom-based activities take place, the second site being Newmead Farm, located in Maiden Bradley and allows students the opportunity to explore subject pathswhich would otherwise not be available to them.We have grown to support 40 students, aged 8-18 years old. Each student has individual needs based on developmental challenges, Social and Emotional Mental Health difficulties or Autism. We support them using individual plans and the THRIVE approach. WessexLodge offers all students an individualised education to improve life outcomes.The established staff team come from a variety of previous occupations and have individual skills, which can be utilised, within this school.
