Job Description

Logistics AdministratorFrimley£25K per annumMy client is seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting the business to deliver customer orders on time & processing the companies import & export shipments. You will:

  • Raise all necessary documentation for handling export shipments globally to comply with regulations
  • Create and maintain all shipment records
  • Arrange Import collections & shipments
  • Issue customs clearance instructions and record the records
  • Raise Chamber of Commerce/Embassy documentation
  • Liaise with all Carriers for Courier/Air/Sea/Road Haulage
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have a good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Be flexible with working hours
  • Worked in a logistics department previously (an advantage)
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be able to work well within a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to manage a large workload effectively
Working hours are Monday to Friday. 39 hour working week, flexible working hours which can be taken on any day of the week (i.e., you don’t have to stick to a particular pattern) • 0700 - 1530 hrs, 0730 - 1600 hrs, 0800 - 1630 hrs, 0830 - 1700 hrs. On a Friday, you finish 1 hour earlier.In return our client offers parking on site, 25 days holiday + BH, 5.7% employer company pension, dental scheme, cycle to work scheme, flexible working hours and parking on site.
