* Purchase Ledger* Sales Ledger* PayrollAre you an experienced and commercially oriented finance professional looking for a new challenge An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join our clients dynamic team 2-3 mornings per week. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and providing essential support in various administrative functions.Key Responsibilities:Purchase and Sales Ledger Entries: Efficiently handle and record purchase and sales transactions to maintain accurate financial records.Export of Sales Data: Transfer sales data from internal systems into Pegasus Opera, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.Wage Processing Support: Assist in the processing of wages, contributing to the smooth functioning of payroll activities.Administration Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department, ensuring the efficient operation of day-to-day activities.Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake various ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Officer, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.Experience and Qualifications:Essential Experience: Previous experience in a similar role demonstrating a strong understanding of financial processes.Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Pegasus Opera or Sage is essential.
