Job Description

Job Title: International Security Operations ManagerLocation: FrimleySalary: £65000 + depending on experienceWhat you’ll be doing:

  • Act as the primary day-to-day Security Business Partner to the Head Office Group Business Development Function, providing advice and ensuring security requirements are embedded in their processes and projects
  • Establish repeatable policies and processes to embed standardised approaches to security service delivery for Head Office
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the threats relevant to Head Office Assets and operations in the UK and overseas
  • Based on intelligence and analysis of security threats, conduct and maintain an assessment of security risks to Head Office assets and operations
  • Provide timely security advice to Head Office stakeholders to enable secure, well informed business decisions
  • Work with the Head Office Events team to embed appropriate security requirements into the planning and execution of major Head Office-led events
  • Manage overseas travel risk management activities, and incident response, for Head Office employees
  • Support the development of the Security Culture in their area by raising security awareness among employees and management and role modelling the BAE values and desired behaviours
  • Provide support to the Head of Physical & Technical Security and any other activities deemed necessary to delivery of Head Office operational security
Your skills and experiences: Essential:
  • Experience of delivering security management and protecting high value assets and working in high risk environments
  • Demonstrates technical knowledge and skills reflective of an skilled practitioner who has progressed within security positions of increasing responsibility
  • Understanding of legislation and regulations across the market/ business area with a good understanding of government and industry standards and best practice guidance
  • Knowledge approaches to security management including physical, information and personnel security
  • Experience of security risk management techniques
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related discipline
  • Appropriate Security qualification from a certified body, where relevant
