Accounts Payable Controller, Frimley, £28 to £36k + Bonus (OTE up to £39k) + BenefitsThis is a full-time permanent office-based role.Reporting to the Head of Finance the overall Job objective is to provide a comprehensive Purchase Ledger resource which supports different parts of the business and ensure excellent customer and supplier relationships are maintained at all times. The aimis to ensure the timely payment of suppliers.Tasks and Responsibilities. Process purchase ledger invoices and all related purchase documentation such that transactions are accurately recorded in the company finance system. Liaise closely with colleagues on a day-to-day basis to ensure tasks are completed as and when required. Operate the Xero accounting software package to facilitate the processing and allocation of invoices and payments. Use the order management system to maintain accurate and current contact information for all supplier contacts. Resolve issues relating to supplier accounts, including investigating and taking any necessary action. Work actively with colleagues to suggest and implement changes and improvements to the purchasing cycle and its associated processes. Perform supplier account / statement reconciliations as necessary and liaise with suppliers accordingly. Ensure old or unallocated balances are regularly reviewed and that the necessary actions are performed. Assist with bank reconciliations and ensuring that cash payments and other transactions are accurately recorded in the company systems. Maintain the highest level of accuracy with regards to data entry and financial processing. Provide support and supervision to other staff as required.The successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards the smooth running of the business and help to achieve its objectives. They need someone highly motivated and communicative, able to work on their own initiative, someone technically competentwith a strong track record of Accounts Payable expertise who is highly accurate by nature, reliable and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Salary is £28-£36k depending on experience+ a 10% bonus (OTE up to £39k) and benefits include 25 days holiday, pension and an early finish on a Friday.
