Job Description

I am currently supporting a Global Software Consultancy who are looking to grow their team and add a Graduate to their Technical Support division. The role will be based in Foxton with some flexibility for working from home. This is an incredible organisation to kick off your career with with incredible growth and progression opportunity. Key Tasks: • Provide technical expertise and assistance to customers all around the world• Investigation, reproduction and resolution of defects and issues• Manage own workload and prioritise tasks based on impact• Be able to clearly communicate and transfer information between different stakeholder groups in an organization• Working with your colleagues to improve knowledge and documentation resourcesExperience Required: Essential:• Degree in Computing Science or similar• Familiarity with technical concepts (such as databases, networks, Windows Server)• Excellent comprehension, verbal and written skills• Proven problem solving skillsDesirable:• Confident use of Jira or similar tools• Programming experience (Java, C#, C++, Javascript etc.)• Knowledge or professional certification in any of the below::oWindows Server 2012/2016/2019oWeb Application supportoWeb services/web serversoAzure/Cloud infrastructureoXML/XpathoRegexoMicrosoft SQL administration and usage (query writing)oMicrosoft Dynamics D365FO, D365CE or D365BCPersonal Skills: • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including at developer, functional consultant, IT infrastructure, end-user and process owner levels• Ability to work within a team to achieve goals• Organised and can handle multiple tasks in parallel• Can absorb information quickly• Ability to work in a professional and confident manner• Excellent ICT skills• Ability to plan and effectively prioritise own workload• Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines, as well as work as part of a team•Can do attitude to get the job in hand completed.• Structured and methodical approach to all areas of work For further information please contact Jenny Saban in our Cambridge office
