Job Description

*** Immediate Start! ***Ackerman Pierce are currently representing a Primary school, based on the borders of Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire who are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant.Teaching Assistants play an integral part and equally make a big impact on the lives of young learners. The successful candidate will be able to start at the school almost immediately and as soon as our Compliance Department have completed all their checks.Main duties include :

  • Supporting young learners with SEN and/or EBD
  • To assist the classroom teacher, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set
    • To be successful :
  • Have experience supporting young learners with SEN and/or EBD
  • Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
  • Have a flexible approach with the ability to make quick decisions
  • Be open to supporting any part of the Curriculum
