Are you an experienced Senior Scientist/Study Director/Principal Scientist with a passion for assay development, looking for an exciting opportunity in CambridgeshireProgramme Manager and Principal Scientist Roles Available (Biomarker Bioanalysis)Permanent, Full TimeCambridgeshireCompetitive SalaryMy client, a leading Life Science organisation within Cambridgeshire, is currently looking for a Principal Scientist and a Programme Manager both to join their large molecular bioanalysis team, which is focused on the development and validation of qualitative/quantitative assays in relation to biomarker studies.Key Duties:The Principal Scientist role will be very much a laboratory-based role, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate bioanalytical techniques are applied. In this role you will be leading the Biomarker strategy and providing training within the team on the appropriate techniques.The Programme Manager role will provide operational leadership for the biomarker bioanalysis group, managing the biomarker studies to ensure the timely delivery of projects at a profit. This role is more focused within operations and building long-term client relationships.To be eligible for these roles, you must meet the following criteria:- Have a Bsc/Msc/PhD in Biological Sciences- Have strong expertise within biomarker bioanalysis- Have a good understanding of regulatory requirements (GCP, GLP etc.)- Have excellent communication skillsFor the Principal Scientist role you will also need experience of lean approaches to Biomarker workflows in the lab and for the Programme Manager role you will need strong experience within project management, supporting large, complex clinical trialsIf you’re interested in applying for either role, please apply below
