Job Description

Fire and Security Service ManagerFordham, Cambridgeshire£36,000pa to £42,000pa DOEMonday to Friday 7.30am to 5pmDue to company growth, our ambitious client based on the outskirts of Newmarket are looking for a Fire and Security Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be working alongside the Assistant Service Manager and Technical Director, assisting thecompany to reach its growth objectives, so would suit someone who is relentless and has the drive to deliver on the companys targets.To be considered for this position, you will have a proven track record within the fire & security industry with knowledge of all aspects of maintenance and installations of equipment, excellent people skills and a positive attitude towards personal andcompany growth.Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check will need to be completed at our clients cost.What you will be doing:

  • Managing technicians and advisors ensuring team objectives and sales goals are being carried out.
  • Carry out regular audit, to ensure that all standards are met
  • Ensuring that all repair work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.
  • Oversees team members performing inspections, preparing reports, and doing repairs; if necessary, carries out these job duties personally to ensure highest quality of work.
  • Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Sets up and maintains service desk, including managing service desk team members and evaluating desk efficiency.
  • Resolves service desk problems and improves current service desk methods to increase productivity and customer service.
  • Monitors department issues and client complaints to define patterns and work to lessen those recurring issues.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is obtained and processed promptly and in adherence to the companys ISO

About you:
  • You will have a proven track record within the fire & security industry with knowledge of all aspects of maintenance and installations of equipment
  • A good understanding of installation/electrical procedures and principles related to the fire and security industry.
  • Strong written, verbal and numerical skills - with both colleagues and customers
  • Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy customers differing needs and commitments.
  • Committed and willing to go the extra mile to get tasks completed on time.
  • Positive attitude towards personal and company growth.
