Job Description

This an exciting opportunity to work with an established and successful business based in Fleckney. My client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their small and friendly team. This role will be varied and encompass helping out withthe different areas of the business. Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 1 years office experience (entry-level) looking for the next step in their careers. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential. Reasonable overtime is to be worked forthe fulfilment of tasks as and when requested or required.

  • Provide friendly and efficient administrative service to customers, ensuring that candidates are booked onto courses in a timely manner and that any queries are resolved.
  • Assist in coordinating bookings for candidates attending the courses and trainers such as scheduling, preparing and sending joining instructions, course materials, venue booking, catering etc.
  • Assist with arranging any additional functions such as sales meetings and conferences.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of training course attendance.
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate training course calendar.
  • Assist in maintaining candidate paperwork for external auditing by external examination authorities.
  • Responsible for classroom preparation which will require some early starts and later finishes (0800 start - 1800 finishes on training days).
Experience required:
  • Accurate keyboard skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Customer service focused and committed to providing a helpful, and responsive service.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to identify situations that could result in potential customer complaints to prevent the complaint from occurring.
  • Well-organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
  • Good verbal and written communication skills including an excellent telephone manner.
  • Able to work cooperatively within a team and on your own initiative.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office programmes including Excel
Salary: £18,700 rising to £19,500 after the successful completion of the probationary periodBenefits: On-site parking, 22 days hols + bhols, Contributory pension schemeHours of work: Monday to Thursday 9 am - 5 pm - Friday 9 am - 4 pm - 1-hour lunch and 2 x 15 min breaks
