Job Description

An excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm of Chartered Financial Planners who are based just outside of Bristol. This company is directly authorised and specialise in providing advice in pensions, investments and protection as well as providingcorporate services.The firm are now in a position to appoint a new paraplanner to join their established team. The role is suited for an experienced Paraplanner who is either looking to start or already making progress towards Chartered Status.The role is centred around providing support to the firms advisors in providing the best financial advice to their clients.The Role:

  • Supporting advisers with the technical research required to evidence the most appropriate advice
  • Preparation of client suitability reports which adhere to company and FCA guidance
  • Keeping abreast of legal, FCA and provider changes to ensure knowledge remains up to date and relevant
  • Undertaking cashflow modelling in line with client circumstances
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and attendance at client meetings, where require
  • Training will be provided enabling you to develop
  • You will be working with a team of experienced paraplanners and advisers
  • Ability to study with financial support with to develop your career in Financial Services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of working within a paraplanning role
  • Level 4 diploma qualification in financial services already achieved
  • Attention to detail and the ability to solve tasks
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
  • Confident communication skills and comfortable dealing with clients, providers and management
  • Absolute commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Progress towards the Level 6 Chartered qualification in financial services would be favourable
