Our specialist SEN provision, coupled with our expertise within residential care means we offer thousands of vulnerable children and young people across the UK a holistic, wraparound care, residential and education service, empowering them with everything they need to flourish. It is by no accident that 94% of our homes are rated as Outstanding or Good.Acorn Care and Education is part of the Outcomes First Group.About the Role:The Wellbeing Services Co-Ordinator (WSC) is a specialised operational senior management role and may cover multiple sites in a geographical operating region across fostering, care and education.The key objectives for the WSC are:

  • Coordinate and deliver clinical / wellbeing services for young people and adults, aligned with each provisions completed needs audit.
  • Coordinate and monitor specialist & targeted services / assessments being delivered across the three divisions ensuring alignment with the OFG wellbeing and clinical service project.
  • Management of budget and review service delivery in liaison with the National Wellbeing Manager, related to wellbeing / clinical services to ensure best value in terms of impact / outcomes for young people and adult
  • The WSC’s will help ensure that stated needs on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP’s) and LAC Care Plans are being met and delivered across the three divisions.
  • The WSC will support service delivery and operations in line with the OFG vision, mission and values.
  • About the School:The Holden School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 5 to 11 and has an occupancy of 48 pupils, catering for children with a wide range of needs in Lancashire, Wigan, Manchester and surrounding areas. Our dedicated teamwork together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.We pride ourselves in steering children in the right direction, nurturing aspiration to progress them academically and socially, to encourage them to take pride in their achievements.   • A recognised Psychotherapy/Counselling qualification
  • Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience of working with children, young people and/or adults
  • Demonstrable ability to complete clinical tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  • Ability to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict
