Graduate Engineers - Management Development ProgrammeThis is a permanent role, offering a starting salary up to £30,000+ £2,000 guaranteed joining bonus’ and afurther substantial bonus upon the successful completion of the first 2 years."With us, you will never just be a number’ or get lost in the crowd"We are now recruiting Graduates for our prestigiousManufacturing Leadership Programme called the Management Development Programme, or MDP’ for short - seeking engineers with (or predicted to achieve) a 2:1 or 1st and/or Masters in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Metallurgical, Chemical, Electrical or Material Science……) - Employment starting in September 2020About us:Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC) is owned by Berkshire Hathaway Corporation. You will have access to an outstanding support network, be assigned a mentor and despite our size, MDPs are recognised, respected and rewarded - with us, you will never just be a number or get lost in the crowd.About Our Graduate Management Development Programme:Our flagship programme (MDP) is designed to develop graduates who one day we want to see leading operations at one of our many UK or overseas manufacturing sites. In your first two years with us you will work on four live assignments and be based at two of our 13 UK locations (we will cover any relocation expenses between sites). Joining the MDP, you have a solid base on which to build your career, the security of permanent employment, unrivalled exposure to the workings of our industry and enjoy continuous personal growth and development within one of the worlds leading suppliers to the aerospace (civil and military) and power generation industries with annual sales of over $10 billion.About You:We are looking for engineering graduates, or those who will graduate in 2020, who have what it takes to grow into a senior leadership role. Typically, you will have: -

  • Achieved or be expected to achieve a good (2:1 or better) degree at BSc /BEng or at Masters level
  • Evidence of extracurricular success in leading and engaging people
  • Experienced employment (likely to be a summer placements/a year in industry) preferably within the manufacturing/engineering environment

  • You will have a natural presence, outstanding communications (verbal and written), leadership potential, ability to influence, work within and direct a team. You will have outside interests and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • About The Benefits:Basic annual salary of up to £30,000, a guaranteed joining bonus’ of £2,000, relocation assistance/funded support if relocating between UK sites during the first 2 years, 25 days leave (+ Bank & statutory holidays), pension and a substantial bonus upon completion of the first 2 years on the programme……..
