Job Description

Due to expansion our client is looking for a successful Growth Advisor to join their established team in Cambridge. If you would enjoy working with a variety of organisations, developing and discovering their challenges whilst assisting and guiding them in the various areas of their business (particularly access to finance) this opportunity could be of interest to you. You will be playing a vital role in helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals using your knowledge and expertise within this very unique and exciting opportunity. As the Growth Advisor you will be: - Using your skills and tools provided to identify the growth opportunities for relevant businesses and offer bespoke business support services to help them maximise their project and business potential. Identifying potential companies that require business support by using excellent networking skills, attending relevant organisations within Cambridge and the East of England, building good relationships to further develop and promote the organisation you will be representing.- Making presentations to interested groups, delivering workshops, attending conferences- Be part of the public face team of the organisation for visits, networking and speaking events- Working alongside operational and services team, to support the activities promoted with the aim of ensuring the programme is reaching it full potential where we can influence- Recording key data within internal systems, contributing to planning and financial processesAs the Growth Advisor you will: - Have proven business experience within a successful SME- Have proven business coaching skills especially around Access to Finance knowledge and wider contacts around the Cambridge Cluster and East of England region- Have excellent networking and presentation skills- Have extensive knowledge of SME issues, ability to advise high-potential firms IT literate, input to CRM systems, Excel, Word and report writing skills are essential- Be capable of working independently and be a great team player with good interpersonal skillsIf you are looking for an opportunity to work from home managing your own time in an autonomous role where there will be plenty of opportunity for growth and development then this could be for you.By applying for this Growth Advisor role, you are agreeing to your CV being held on our database, stored confidentially and securely.
