Saab is expanding in the UK and we are now seeking x2 talented and highly motivated System Verifications Engineer to support our radar operations ourFarnborough office, this is truly a unique opportunity.What you will become a part ofBusiness Area Surveillance offers effective solutions for surveillance, decision support and systems used to detect and deter different kinds of threats. The product portfolio includes airborne, land based and marine radar systems, systems for signal reconnaissance,command and communications systems as well as systems for leading seafaring vessels and air traffic.You will be a part of a brand new branch in Farnboroughof business unit Radar Solutions. Radar Solutions is responsible for the radar development and more specifically the product unit Surface Radar systems with headquarters in Gothenburg SwedenThe group you will work in is responsible for integration and verification of Saabs Surface radars that is our land based and naval radar systems.Your RoleAs a System Integration & Verification Engineer you for Surface Radars means that you have a responsibility for the testing and verification for our radar system. This responsibility includes writing test and verification specifications, performing saidtests and verifications interpretation of test data and results, and recommendation of modification to improve performance and error handling.You will work closely with project management to set expectations and meet deadlines. Your role covers performing formal verification and acceptance test together with our clients. You will also assist service activities at our customer. Primarily for ourUK market.Your closest colleagues will be based in Farnborough, UK. The UK team will work in close co-operation with our Swedish integration and verification team. In the beginning of your employment, you will spend a considerable amount of training and working inGothenburg, Sweden.Your Profile

• As a person you are positive, social, result oriented and a team player with a broad technical interest as you will work will cover everything from mechanical to computer challenges.
• You have experience working with both theoretical and practical technical challenges.
• You have an interest in computer systems.
• You have a bachelor degree or equivalent
• Military background is an advantage
• You are comfortable with explaining technical solutions for the team and stakeholders.
• You like working in a team and cooperating with other but are capable of working individually as well.
• Handling unexpected problems is a natural part of reality and you choose simple and effective solutions to those problems.

• During your employment you will handle tasks and materials that are classed as military secrecy and therefore you must have a UK citizenship.
