Job Description

Weston College are the education providers at HMP Eastwood Park, and we are looking for a part-time IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) Advisor to join the team.The post-holder will provide face-to-face Information, Advice and Guidance at HMP Eastwood Park to adult customers in a custody setting within the context of the contract applicable and to support customers to make informed career decisions.You can find out more about this role in the job description and person specification which is attached above.As this role is based within a prison, the successful candidate will need to obtain the relevant security clearance before starting in this role. About HMP Eastwood ParkHMP Eastwood Park is a closed women’s prison located in South Gloucestershire. The prison is dedicated to creating a safe and educational environment for women, equipping them with essential skills to enhance their reintegration into society and reduce thelikelihood of reoffending. The prison offers a diverse range of subjects, including English, maths, cleaning and recycling, ICT, beauty, customer service, hospitality, and art, enabling residents to gain valuable skills which can be used in employment uponrelease.
