Job Description

Brose Ltd, Coventry West MidlandsQuality ManagerSalary Range; £50,000 to £55,000 + up to 10% annual bonusVisa Sponsership NOT offeredAs a successful family-owned company on a path to global growth, the Brose Group offers challenging responsibilities and exciting career opportunities to performance-driven, skilled specialists with solid professional knowledge and proven career expertisewho wish to contribute to our companys success.We are seeking for a Quality Manager who is responsible for Planning, implementation and continuous improvement of Quality Management Policies, procedures and working instructions designed to meet the requirements of Brose Group, Brose Coventry,Customers and International Standards (IATF).Alongside , you will functionally lead an effective quality engineering team including recruitment, training, developing, and conducting performance reviews, Facilitate the supplier and production quality engineering team in the delivery of product qualityensuring that all customer requirements are met, meeting quality, cost and warranty targets both internally and externally.Leading a team of talented individuals, you as a Quality Manager will:

  • Maintain and update Quality Systems, Continuous Improvement and Standardisation
  • Deployment of company policies, procedures and methods into operational standards
  • Lead for failure cost reduction and operational performance improvements through scrap reduction and lean principles
  • Ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Regularly review and report on customer scorecards and portals and co-ordinate actions when required
  • Co-ordination, assurance of accuracy and communication of Quality Reporting
  • Facilitate Problem solving team reviews with plant and central functions
  • Co-ordinate the problem management process within the manufacturing teams to ensure that company systems are used and maintained
  • Mentoring of quality engineers to support their achievement of targets & activities
  • Management of supplier quality engineers and related processes including KPI monitoring & supporting with management of supplier claims, problem resolution and escalations (CSL etc)

Have excellent communications skills and ability to work well with employees at different levels, leading cross-functional teams and possessesthe ability to make sound business decisions and escalate issues as required. Demonstrating ability to respond at pace, to changing demands through robust planning, teamwork and collaboration.You need to have proven leadership and team building skills, a Degree standard or equivalent experience in Quality management & Engineering discipline, Good communication / inter-personal skills, Good problem-solving skills including use of tools and statistical analysisKnowledge of AIAG core tools and IATF standards Project management and implementation of new products and SAP experience advantageous, IT literate, Production failure management.We are an equal opportunities employer.
