Assist in the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management plan and monitor compliance with the plan.
Maintain a register of accidents and injuries and providing an analysis of these in monthly meetings, identifying emerging OHS risks in the workplace.
Involvement for new equipment to established that they are safe/stable and supporting good ergonomic design for operators.
New projects review prior to introduction within plant, ensuring all HSEE topics are covered. Developing training programs on Health, Safety Environmental & Energy issues including hazard management, accident
investigation, manual handling, and fire safety in liaison with the training team, energy savings, COSHH & dispose of hazardous waste. The control of contractors, ensuring that they understand their requirements/ duties.
Assisting on projects and actions and ensure that agreed timelines are adhered to. Audits and Compliances, assist with the schedules, reporting of outcomes, documentation, and records Knowledge of COSHH & hazardous waste restrictions disposal

Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
3-5 years relevant work experience in Health and Safety in Manufacturing industry
NEBOSH certificate
Have a proven track record of improving health and safety culture within the business.
Be able to multitask and support other departments
Good communication and able to work independently and be confident in decision making.
Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
