Our client, a leading manufacturer of construction products has an exciting opportunity to manage and develop the production function at one of their UK manufacturing sites. This is a global company who supply products for a wide variety of customers andbusiness is booming. This is one of their leading sites in the UK and it is a great opportunity for an experienced and motivated team leader to further develop and improve the department.Role Description * Supervising the companys manufacturing team and monitoring quality control checks of daily production * Supervising a team of operators* Planning the day to day production schedule * Assisting with the scheduling of transport* Liaising with the Sales, Accounts and Transport department to report on capacity levels and lead times * Providing product and sales feedback to the management team * Stock keeping * Arranging the logistics for raw materials. Skills and Qualifications * Production experience within manufacturing * Strong supervisory/leadership skills * Used to supervising members of staff * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Pragmatic * Excellent MS office skills, particularly Excel * Good understanding of current employment law Key Benefits: * Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 * Shifts: 4on4off Days and Nights (12 Hour Shifts)* Company Pension Scheme * Overtime available * Competitive holidays + Bank holidays * On site parking In return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for technically motivated engineers.
