Job Description

As a successful family-owned company on a path to global growth, the Brose Group offers challenging responsibilities and exciting career opportunities to performance-driven, skilled specialists with solid professional knowledge and proven career expertisewho wish to contribute to our companys success.We are seeking an experienced Production Leader (Doors) who will lead a multi functional team in the manufacture of welded/ painted/ assembled and tested products to world class quality standards.You will be responsible for ensuring that your team and the production achieves the business targets for HS&E, Quality, Cost and Delivery for current production/ aftersales and new programme introductions.This is a significant leadership role that requires a wide range of skills to deliver and drive lean improvements through great engagement with our talented people.Leading a team of talented individuals, you will:

  • Communicate, lead, and inspire inline with the Brose FIRST Principles so that our teams can achieve their full potential.
  • Drive Quality and Continual Improvement in line with our Brose Production System and the Company’s Mission, vision, and strategic goals
  • Build and lead an effective operational team, including recruitment, training, coaching, developing and performance reviews
  • Liaise and develop close working relationship with customers and suppliers
  • Capacity planning, monitoring for all resources; manpower, machines, methods, and materials
  • Plan and execute budgets, monitor and drive KPIs and improve the enablers to drive results, for all aspects of the business
  • Working with our customer teams, both locally and in the headquarters ensuring effective controlled change management including new program introduction
  • Absence and Disciplinary management

  • Degree or equivalent in Production or Engineering
  • Previous experience in leading teams in a manufacturing / JIT environment. We do not believe that this position would suit someone stepping into Leadership for the first time.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to work well with employees at different levels, leading cross-functional teams and possesses the ability to make sound business decisions and escalate issues as required
  • Strong, demonstrable people management experience, that is employee centric in approach and someone who possess the passion to achieve through sustaining trusted and open relationships.
  • Embracing Lean leadership behaviours to drive day-to day improvement activity like 5S and longer-term lean projects to enable continuous improvement in performance and the way we operate.
  • Encouraging participation in our employee recognition and IDEAs schemes. Demonstrating ability to respond at pace, to changing demands through robust planning, teamwork, and collaboration.
