Quest Solutions (UK) Ltd are an established quality focussed company specialising in Design, Fabrication and installation of Curtain Walling Systems for both New Build and Refurbishment Projects. Due to our success, reputable business and continued growthwe are looking to recruit an experienced Draughtsperson to work alongside our Team.We are seeking a Draughtsperson to work with us on the design and detailing of Building Envelopes/Facades with the ability to produced detailed drawings which will be used by our building projects team which will include foundational details, schedules andmaterials. You will collaborate with architects and engineers making adjustments based on their advice, although because of the reactive nature of the role, there is scope to take decisions without reference depending on the status of a project at a particulartime.About the Role:-Ensure the job specifications/employer requirements and other project specific requirements are adhered to.Use computer-aided design software to create2D and 3D technical drawings.Calculate dimensions and material requirements.Produce technical submissions in line with contract requirements.Edit technical draughts based on the recommendations of project engineers and architects.Production of as built drawings which are to be incorporated into the O & M Project manuals.The production of internal shop manufacturing details.Keep up-to-date with current legislation in relation to components being detailed.About the Candidate:-Extensive experience in technical drawing/drafting and formal education and training in CAD applications and other computer-aided design software.Qualification in the construction industry or minimum of 5 years’ experience in the curtain walling industry.Knowledge of relevant technical and non-technical documents.Maths skills and attention to detail.Salary to be negotiated subject to skills and experience.The company offers a fantastic working environment and will provide the opportunity to progress your career through excellent guidance, support and training.
