Job Description

Job Title: Psychology and Sociology Teacher Salary: MPS1 - UPS3£25,714 - £41, 604WolverhamptonJob Start: April 2021/September 2021On behalf of a faith school in Wolverhampton, we are looking to recruit a Psychology and Sociology teacher for a full-time permanent post. This is a school which is relatively new but has already developed a strong local reputation. The school has secured a good first Ofsted and benefits from being part of a small Trust of similar schools nationwide. The school recently moved into a new building, so you will have the opportunity to work in a purpose-built school with modern facilities and technologies. Applicants do not have to be followers of the schools faith but must be respectful of the schools values and beliefs.The vacancy has arisen because the school has been growing over the last few years and their sixth-form provision opened in September 2020. The school are looking to appoint a Psychology and Sociology teacher with experience of teaching at least KS4 and KS5. NQTs are welcome to apply but must be able to highlight KS5 teaching experience during their placements, as this will be a key element of the role.If you have a passion and commitment for teaching and learning, have high personal expectations of your own achievement and professional development, and are creative and energetic, this could be the position for you.The school welcome applicants who believe that every child can succeed and can provide:
