Job Description

Proactive Personnel are on the look out for a suitable class 2 driver who is looking for a new temporary to permanent opportunity.Work involves:

  • Completing relevant paperwork before and after shifts
  • Local and nationwide deliveries and collections
  • Start times will vary between 04.00 - 08.00 on days
  • Ok with using a tail-lift
  • Vehicle checking before and after shifts is essential
  • 45 hours plus a week
  • 2x nights out a week
  • Curtain sider and palletised work
  • Minimum of 8 hours paid
  • Monday to Friday position
  • Providing exceptional customer service to customers.
  • Maintain communication with the transport planners to inform them of any change of delivery, route or schedule.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations on all work sites.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:
  • In date CPC
  • Digi tachograph card holder
  • 6 points maximum on licence
  • Experience on curtain siders and general haulage preferable
  • Nights out experience preferable
