Job Description

SF Recruitment are currently supporting a Nuclear and Defence business in recruiting for a Procurement Lead to join their team in Wolverhampton on a permanent basis. You will be working as an integrated member of the Business Winning and tendering team to provide professional procurement advice and support to the tender process. The Role: - As the Procurement Lead you will be working with the Business Development team, evaluating the supply chain requirements for future business development opportunities. - Attend industry events and seminars to develop a network of contacts and build supply chain relationships. - Engage with Supply Chain through early supplier/partner engagement in a formal tendering process ensuring on time and high-quality responses for bid input. - PQQs/Quotations/Bids and obtaining best value for money through supplier negotiations. - Negotiating and agreeing contractual terms with suppliers to support submissions. - Prepare and present supply chain cost/schedule estimate reports by compiling, reviewing and analysis supplier quotation/bid data. The Candidate: As the successful candidate for the Procurement Lead you will have the following: - Minimum of 3 years experience within a Procurement role within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. - Good overview of NEC form of contract. - Conserving with any Statutory Terms & Conditions of contract. - Excellent Communication and I.T skills.
