Having the largest neurosciences unit in London means were able to carry out advanced spinal surgery, intracranial and peripheral nerve surgery as well as pioneering neurosurgeryJob DescriptionAs Senior MRI Radiographer you will provide a customer focused high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users; undertaking and performing all MRI procedures.This is a permanent full time role working 37.5hrs per week at The Wellington Hospital within London (including shifts from 8am-4pm, 8am-8pm & 12pm-8pm). Part-time/job share applications will also be considered.   • Undertake all examinations efficiently and to a high standard ensuring safety of patients at all times
  • Participate in the out of hours on-call and extended days (by rota)
  • Assist in development and promotion of the Diagnostic Imaging service
  • Assist with the booking of some appointments and work closely with the Radiologists
  • Ensure that all personnel entering the scanning room are screened and deemed to be safe
  • Perform the daily MRI QA tests
  • Occasional rotation across our out-patient facilities in Golders Green (NW11 9PY) and Elstree (WD6 3BS).
  • Skills & Experience
  • DCR(R) or BSc in Radiography
  • HCPC Registered
  • Extensive experience in MRI
  • Cardiac MRI experience is desirable
  • Experience with 3T scanning
