We have an international reputation for excellence in complex healthcare and have gained four decades of expertise intreating patients from the UK and overseas.We have a comprehensive diagnostic and imaging unit with both conventional imaging and hybrid functional imaging / nuclear medicine facilities under one umbrella. The Hybrid Functional Imaging & NuclearMedicine service a 3 camera Unit incorporating the Symbia INTEVO T16 SPECT-CT, Symbia Intevo BOLD T16 SPECT-CT with xSPECT technology and Biograph mCT 128 PET-CTAbout the role: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Imaging Services Manager is responsible for the operational management of all patient services within the Directorate. This involves delivery of strategic direction, operational performancetargets, including access targets, finance and the quality of services to patients and improving services towards best practice standards within available income.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of services to agreed standards
  • Exercise delegated authority to resolve day-to-day management issues
  • Provide appropriate input and challenge to clinical and business plans and continue to work to delivery of these objectives.
  • Manage the implementation of systems, control processes and risk management arrangements to support monitoring of compliance with clinical governance standards, other facility-wide policies and processes and best practice requirements
  • Improve the quality of services through Clinical Governance.
  • Cross boundary management of staff within a complex environment
  • Manage service improvement projects to agreed timeframes and financial targets.
Skills and experience
  • A clinical background within an Imaging setting is highly desirable
  • Experience of managing a large team
  • Prior experience of managing a budget
  • Prior experience of working within private healthcare is preferred but not essential.
