We are actively inviting experienced Cath Lab Theatre Support Assistants to apply to The Wellington Hospital, part of the Worlds largest private healthcare group; providing award winning primary, acute and complex care.Location: The Wellington Hospital.Contract Type: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hoursShift Day:; Monday to Saturday.Shift Patterns: early, late, long daysSalary range: £25,428 - £28,254Additional rewards: Private healthcare, Contributory pension, health and a vast range of rewards you would associate with a leading private healthcare organisation.The Wellington Hospital is internationally known for excellence in complex healthcare and is the largest independent hospital in the United Kingdom, and part of HCA International hospital group. It offers cardiac services, neurosurgery, liver and HPB medicine,rehabilitation, gynaecology, orthopaedics, and other servicesThe RoleAs part of a multidisciplinary team the Cath lab Support Worker will be responsible to support the Cath lab team within the Cath lab environment and non invasive cardiology, performing duties with direct patient care. Other duties include performing documentation,charging, stock control, preparing clinical rooms, escorting patients throughout the Department and communicating important information to the team.Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or Theatre Assistant
  • BTEC Diploma, Health and Social Care Level 2
  • Experience of working in a hospital environment
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work well as a team with staff at all levels
