Job Description

The Job:Reporting to the Product Manager, the Pricing Specialist will be responsible for the pricing of customer enquiries to maximise our conversion to order rates. The Pricing Specialist will manage and control the pricing process and supply of parts for designatedcategory within their responsibility.Key task for this position involves evaluating the costs associated with customer requirements, with a focus on securing business opportunities while upholding the companys profit margins.The Person:You will need to demonstrate an expertise with figures and have an understanding of profit and margins. Ideally you will have worked in a role that involves pricing recommendations or a similar type of role. You will need to be a good communicator, bothwritten and spoken as this role will be a key role between sales and production.Youll be using our bespoke ERP system and you will need to use Excel and possibly PowerBi in the role.We are looking for this person to be passionate about product and pricing, you will need to have an attention to detail and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.The Company:A supplier of high-quality metals and materials, Goodfellow specialises in the research and development sectors with a strong focus on science and industry.
