Job Description

Job Overview:A specialist supplier of high-quality metals and materials, Goodfellow specialises in the research and development sectors with a strong focus on science and industry. Today, backed by the prestigious Private Equity firm Battery Ventures, Goodfellow is on an exciting trajectory with a strongmergers and acquisitions strategy and ambitious goals to achieve our growth targets.The Role:The Marketing & Communications team is a new and developing division of Goodfellow with an exciting brief to grow the companys brand awareness globally. The Marketing Co-ordinator will support the Marketing Communications Manager to achieve the goals ofthe department as well as the long-term growth of the company.This is an exciting role which, along with playing a pivotal role in developing the departments online campaigns, will include co-ordinating and organising relevant tradeshows in the UK, Europe and the USA.Key responsibilities will include, but are not exclusive to:Marketing and Digital

  • Support the sales and marketing teams in defining the campaign calendar including email, social, web and events
  • Assist in the organising and delivery of digital campaigns across social, web and email platforms
  • Maintain the businesss various social and digital channels, ensuring campaign communications and responses are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Support the MarComms Manager to ensure regular email communications via the CRM function
  • Maintain list of company trade associations and key industry and market websites, online communities and offline publications, conferences etc.
  • Work with MarComms Manager to negotiate, book, and record approved online and offline advertisements/sponsorships agreements.
  • Manage the administrative requirements of the Marketing Communications and Digital teams
Skills, knowledge, and aptitude:Essential
  • Experience in a Marketing Assistant role
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Experience of Events Management,
  • Strong digital knowledge with experience of CMS and online content creation
  • Experience of CRM and EMP solutions such as Salesforce, DotDigital or similar
  • Experience of Google Analytics and other analytics tools
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
