Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant to DirectorShift Pattern: full time position, or Monday to Thursday, with flexible hours.Sector: ConstructionJob Type: AdministrationCustomer Intro:The Mick George Group is one of the leading suppliers to the construction industry in East Anglia and the East Midlands, specialising in providing bulk excavation and earth-moving services, demolition, aggregate and concrete supply, environmental and wastemanagement services. Having established ourselves in the Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, and Leicestershireregions for all services, we also operate nationwide for many contracting services.The RoleWe are looking for an Administrative Assistant to the Director to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing administrative support to a director, assisting in daily office tasks, andmanaging general administrative activities.Main tasks & Duties

  • H&S - writing RAMS from specification, controlling distribution, and recording on system.
  • Entering daily workshop costings to respective job cards.
  • Co-ordinating/administrating driver recruitment (applications, arranging interviews and onboarding etc)
  • Co-ordinating and administrating all-other periodic driver training and safety requirements - TBTs eLearning, eyesight checks, etc.
  • Administrating all fleet breakdown recording.
  • Administration invoices - checking against cost databases.
  • Ad hoc administration, including:
  • Daily KPI reporting
  • Skip Counts
  • Bag stocks
  • LOLER Skip inspections
  • Monthly performance bonuses.
  • Scanning and uploading of documents
  • Timesheet auditing
Candidate requirements
  • Previous experience as a Secretary, Administrative, Personal or Executive Assistant would be preferential.
  • Experience in a Transport/Logistics or Financial role would also be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels, both internally and externally
  • High standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
