Dont miss out onthis opportunity to be part of our dynamic team and help us create beautiful living spaces for our customers.About the Role:As an employed Sales Design Specialist at Hammonds, the purpose of your role to inspire our customers to want to buy our fitted furniture solutions through the creation of exciting and innovative designs which meet the customers’ needs and wants, deliveringaward winning service by living our values of being real, creative and committed - The Hammonds Way.Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting successful design appointments across our design centres and at their homes
  • Collaborating closely with customers to create bespoke storage solutions.
  • Using cutting-edge design software (ArtiCAD) to bring their visions to life.
  • Providing expert guidance and advice to customers.
  • Managing the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal.
  • Conducting design appointments both on location at our design centres depending on their preference.
  • Reporting to our Divisional Sales Managers for your region.
  • Working alongside our inspiring Design Centre team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Collaborating with the Field Operations teams across installations, surveying, and customer service to drive optimum customer experience and excellence.
What it takes:
  • Proven experience in a successful sales role, ideally in a direct sale environment.
  • A strong track record of driving sales and meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional customer, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, customer relationships and trust quickly and negotiate effectively.
  • A demonstrable passion for Home Improvement or an interest in design.
  • A customer-centric mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent design and sales presentation skills.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
Requirements:
  • A valid UK driving license and access to your own transport.
  • Five days a week in a Design Centre including 1 weekend and 2 evenings per week. Across 7 variable days.
  • During key trading periods, you should be willing to work additional hours. Benefits:
