There is a permanent position available at the school, who are offering this position on a temporary to permanentbasis, initially you will join the school on a long-term supply contract which has the possibility of going permanent.About Us:The school itself is located close to the city center of Birmingham and is slightly smaller than the average Secondary School. The school have been through a significant period of transition over recent years but under the new Leadership team there is nowa clear vision for the school and well planned and implemented strategies. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team of staff that have embraced the changes that have been implemented over the last couple of years and with a clear desire toprovide the best possible days teaching for their pupils.As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the mathematical abilities and enthusiasm of our students. You will deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of our diverse student population, ensuring their understandingof key mathematical concepts and building their problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the secondary school mathematics curriculum.
• Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for mathematics.
• Assess and monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and implement interventions to support individual learning goals.
• Stay updated with the latest educational developments, methodologies, and pedagogical approaches in mathematics teaching.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification recognized in the UK.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, ideally within a UK curriculum or an equivalent international curriculum.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the secondary school mathematics curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
