Job Title:Bank CaretakerLocation: The Tower School, Epping, Essex.Salary:Up to £14.00 per hourHours: BankContract:BankCan you enrich the lives of young people as a CaretakerWe are looking for a responsible, hands-on Caretaker to join our fantastic team at The Tower School, In Epping, Essex. As Caretaker, you will help support our pupils in their daily lives, by ensuring our sites are well maintained and equipped to meet theirneeds.This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team committed to helping pupils with varied and complex needs. You will take pride in maintaining our school, from day to day repairs to completing risk assessments, carrying out security procedures, checkingequipment and contributing to school development projects.For many of our pupils, consistency is key, and our Caretakers take time to make sure everything is as it should be for us to run smoothly and safely.Quality is always top of our agenda and we pride ourselves on the quality of what we do. We are looking for a Caretaker, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their wayin the world.Previous experience in a similar setting would be great but isn’t essential as full training will be given, and the right DIY skills, motivation, and personal qualities are just as important. These roles are ideal for people with skills in maintenance, DIYand health and safety, looking for a new role that makes a real difference to pupil’s lives and futures.You will be quality focused, efficient, able to work at pace, and motivated to help us provide a safe, caring environment where every pupil can thrive.The post holder must hold a clean driving licence, and live within reasonable distance of The Tower School (Travel time of 30 minutes)as being on-call will be part of your role.About us:The Tower School is a brand new, independent special day School for pupils aged 11-18 who have a primary diagnosis of Autism. Our dedicated team, work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who will often arrive at the school with a troubled viewof education and life.The Tower School site is currently going through significant refurbishment and is scheduled to open in early February 2021. It is based in Epping, Essex. It is located on Epping High Road within easy access of J26 of the M25 and Junction 5 of the M11. Eppingisalovely market town in Essexand just 17 miles (30km) from the centre of London. It is surrounded by Epping Forestand the River Rodingand River Leavalleys. The school is just a 10-minute walk from Epping station on the London Underground’s central linewhich will have you in London’s West End in under 50 minutes.For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
